[at work] boring boring boring... *big yawn*

today is Friday, Sep 23rd. so what does dis mean? it means dat i'm only left with 2 more weeks before my attachment finally ends!!! i can't wait to get outta dis place already lor.. office life is too damn blardy dull can.. Zzz

whenever i chat with Josh on msn nowadays, he will NEVER fail to count down to de day he returns to SG. apparently, he can't wait to get outta America. haha. and somehow it makes me want to count down de number of days left for me in Texas too, even though i'm clearly aware dat de more i count down, de slower time passes. but i just can't help it. itz high time dat i need a real vacation. and i mean, right now! argh...

and and and.. i have been craving for SEAFOOD and SG food for god-knows-how-many-weeks!! black pepper crabs, sambal stingray, roti prata, mee pok, laksa, wan ton mee, fried oyster, satay, etc etc. *faints* de tot of these food is enuf to make me drool, literally. i swear.. i'm gonna have a feast when i'm back. no kidding. anyone on for pig-out anytime? haha. =D

on de other hand, i also want to maintain my waistline. and sadly, my face looks so chubby now can.. i wonder how am i going to do handle these 2 at de same time - maintain slim waist & not-too-chubby face, and pig out. *bleah* itz like mission impossible to me. -_-'''

2 more weeks only.. and it seems like forever to me. i can't wait to get my ass in San Francisco and den back to Singapore!! getting homesick all over again... damn!

ok. enuf of my homesickness. time for some news updates.

currently, itz reported dat Hurricane Rita is moving towards northern Texas. and most of de people from de southern part, have already evacuated from their homes and making their way up north - Austin and Dallas. de hotel i'm staying in is already full. dere is even a "No Vacancy" notice pasted on de door at de main entrance.

ever since news of de hurricane broke out, i have been getting messages from concerned friends on msn. so touched can... love you peeps! =)

these are some of de messages i got from those concerned about my safety. Lol.

... "hey, are you going to evacuate from your place soon?"

... "are you ok?"

... "Hurricane Rita is going to hit Texas right?"

... "better be very careful ok"

blah blah blah. i called home few days ago and my family reacted likewise too. haha.

ok, for some reassurance: Dallas will most probably get heavy rains for de next few days but itz very unlikely dat de hurricane will hit here at full strength. according to current updates, de storm has already weakened. so no worries. for now at least. *cross fingers*
